Iran has stressed the need to strengthen banking cooperation with Turkmenistan following a review of the latest developments in financial relations between the two countries.
Iran is ready to present feasibility-assessed and investment-ready projects in energy, transit and logistics, agriculture and food processing, as well as industrial projects in free and special economic zones, to Turkmenistan, Central Asian states and other members of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the head of Iran’s investment organization said.
Mahdi Heidari, Iran’s Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance and head of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI), has arrived in Ashgabat to attend Turkmenistan's International Investment Forum.
