Hojjatollah Chavoshi said the shipment underwent customs clearance procedures at Parvizkhan before being transferred by truck to rail wagons and dispatched abroad using the country’s railway network.

The official described the operation as an important step toward expanding multimodal transport and strengthening the transit capacity of Parvizkhan Customs. He said greater use of rail freight could reduce transportation costs, improve logistics efficiency and help expand cargo transit through the border crossing.

Parvizkhan is Iran’s second-largest transit border crossing and plays a significant role in facilitating trade and cargo flows between Iran and regional markets.
