Speaking at a meeting with executives of the Mammut Industrial Complex, Faroud Asgari, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Head of IRICA, said the agency had introduced a range of measures designed to reduce production costs and ensure the timely provision of raw materials to manufacturing units.
  Mr Asgari noted that approximately 800 companies-including manufacturing, knowledge-based, and commercial enterprises- currently benefit from IRICA’s special customs facilities under the “Top Economic Activists” programme. 
 
 
  Also in attendance were senior customs officials: Ali Akbar Shamani, Deputy for Customs Affairs; Leili Ourangi, Director General of the Export Office; Abdolreza Gholami, Director General of the Tariff Office; Abdolmajid Dehghanian, Director General of the Valuation Office; Mohammad Ali Behpoori, Director General of the Import Office; and Saeed Naderi, Director General of Qazvin Customs.
