During the meeting, the board reviewed 45 foreign investment applications covering a range of economic sectors, including industry, mining, agriculture, telecommunications, the securities market, renewable energy and solar power generation, automotive and motorcycle manufacturing, healthcare, food processing, and services.
Of the applications reviewed, the board approved 43 foreign investment projects with a total value of $220 million.
The applications were submitted by investors from Russia, China, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Belarus, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Iraq, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, as well as Iranians residing abroad.
With the approvals granted at these five meetings (during the current Iranian year starting from March 20, 2026), the total number of approved foreign investment projects has reached nearly 250, with a combined value of approximately $2 billion.
