According to SHADA, the 306th session of the board, chaired by Mahdi Heidari, head of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran, reviewed 65 investment applications across a wide range of sectors, including renewable energy, solar power generation, automotive manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, food production, apparel, international logistics, agriculture, mining, services, and other industrial fields.
The proposals were submitted by investors from Germany, Switzerland, Russia, China, Türkiye, Austria, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Afghanistan, as well as members of the Iranian diaspora.
Following deliberations, the board approved 62 projects, while consideration of three remaining applications was postponed pending further technical assessments by relevant authorities.
Iran's Foreign Investment Board approved 62 foreign investment projects totaling $770 million in its third meeting of the current Iranian calendar year, which began on June 20, 2026.
